1. Motivation

   • Motivation is the force or something that pushes you on to succed
   • Intrinsic
     • This is motivation that comes from within It is your natural desire to achieve something
     • Goal setting
       • This is a good way to motivate yourself by setting short term goals to achieve
       • SMARTER
         • S specific M measurable A agreed R realistic T time based E exciting R recorded
   • extrinsic
     • This is motivation that comes from outside like prizes and money
     • Dis advantages
       • you may lose intrest if you dont get a prize You may get put off if the prize is to easy or difficult The competition can exert too much pressure.

2. Arousal

   • This is your level of excitement or readiness to perform
   • Inverted U theory
     • This shows the level of arousal or performance. A your bored and tired Arousal level LOW B and C you are at optimum level Arousal HIGH D you are nervous and anxious  Arousal LOW 

3. Global events

   • These are events countries set up for Athletes all around the world to participate.
   • Advantages of being host country
     • Tourist attraction A lot of income into the country It invites immigrants to become citizens Makes country well known Gives country better chance of wining since their in their home
   • Disadvantages of being host country
     • The government will spend a lot of money on sport facilities Economical breakdown Over crowding of residence The inmates lose privacy

   • This is a body system that pumps or transports blood and many other substances around the body with the use of organs andd blood vessels

     • Heart related disease
       • Angina Stroke Heart attack
