- Parallel lines can be defined as two lines in the same plane that are at equal distance from each other and never meet
- These are the two lines which never
meet
- Colloquially,curves that do not meet each other or intersect and keep a fixed minimum distance are said to be Parallel.
- Parallel lines have examples in real life such as, railway tracks ,ladders ,two corresponding sides of books,etc.
- The lines which cut them is called the transversal of that
