Parallal Lines
- If two lines in a plane do not intersect each other , they are called parallal lines
- If two lines in a plane do not intersect each other, they are called parallal lines .
The distance between parallal lines does not change, it is the same every where .
- Two lines in the same plane perpendicular to a given line are parallal to each other .
- Lines, parallal to a given line in a plane, are parallal to each other .
- Two lines in the same plane perpendicular to a given line are parallal to each other .
If two parallal lines are cut by a transversal, then the :
- pairs of corresponding angles are equal .
- pairs of alternate ( interior as well as exterior ) angles are equal .
- pairs of alternate ( interior as well as exterior ) angles are equal .
- pairs of corresponding angles are equal .
