1. Front end and back end development

   • Back end
     • CSS
       • This is used in tandum with HTML to create the colours and structure of a website
         • This is what makes the website styleized and visually appealing to the user
     • JAVASCRIPT
       • This coding language is used to make the functional features of a web appliaction
         • One example of this is the searching function on most websites
     • SQL
       • This is the coding languge used for databases
         • This is used for the computer to know how and when to pull data fro a source
     • HTML
       • This is the coding language the is the basis of all of the website's textual features
         • This is what creates the information inside of the website
   • Front end
     • Elements and principles of visual communication
       • These are rules that sould be followed when creating a user interface to have the best user experience. It helps the whole flow of the website
         • Colour contrast
           • Contrasts between colours can help to differenciate differing parts of the website. This can help the user to mavigate the interface
     • Useability princples
       • These are principles that a website should follow to determine whether it is sucessful
         • Acessability
           • This principle says that a website should try to be designed in a way that everyone can use the application to an effect that is intended.
             • Examples of whys this can be accounted for is to design things inside of a website to work with people who have physical, cognitive, auditory and visual imparements
         • Effectiveness
           • This principle says to have a website do what is intended as effeciently and convinetly as possible.
             • Ways that this can be done is to try and impliment simplicity and consistancy inside of the unser interface
         • Safety
           • This principle states that a user interface should be designed to reduce the amount of mistakes that a user can make while using your application
             • This can be done by having confermation windows pop up when something important is clicked or used and having a "view password" option when entering a password to avoid mistyping something
         • Learnability
           • This principle states that a user interface should be bulit to be as easy as possible to pick up as a new user and use for its intended purpose
             • This can be done my incorperating universal icons and tutorials inside of your appliaction

2. Constraints

   • There is only a limited amount of time to complete the task
     • This restricts the amount of detail that the task can have to fit within the time frame
   • There are people of disbilities that must be accounted for therefore restricting creativity
     • This restrics creative freedom as certain design features must be implimented to help people with disbilities
       • This can come in the form of colour contrast and text to speech reader to help blind people
   • The app must be deveolped to fit certain viewing hardware
     • This constrains the size of the project to a certain screen.
       • This includes phone screens and computer screens
   • The application must be developed in to fit the technological skill of any person who desides to use my application
     • This contrains the creative freedom of my project to accomidate for people who are not as skillful with a device
       • This can come in the form of tutorials to help people use the website

3. User persona

   • This is where we introduce the average person that will use the application
     • This will incude all aspects of his/her personnality, to deside how to design the website toward them.
       • This will increase the effectiveness of the website which will entice people to stay on it longer
     • This will allow us to create products that will best suit him/her
       • This will increase the profitability of the website

4. Reasorces used to create front end

   • These are apllication that are used to create mock-ups
     • Figma
       • This is a free to use application
     • Adobe XD
       • This requires a licence that costs money

5. Pre-descibed and self descibed criteria

   • Pre-described
     • This is criterion that is described by the task sheet
       • The solution must incorporate usability principles
       • The solution must be appropriate for a wide range of users including your user persona.
       • The solution must be appropriate for multiple devices e.g. mobile, laptop, tablet, desktop.
   • Sellf-described
     • This is criterion that is described by myself
       • The website must show that it is based in Australia so the customer knows that there will be shorter shipping times.
       • The website should look simple but visually interesting
       • The website should have a place where you can contact a seller
       • The website must have information regarding specific cards

6. Other requirements for an application

   • Legal
     • Data collection
       • There are Mulitple laws around the world that prevent the collection of user data
         • This is important to the development of the application, as data could have been collected from the user if these laws were not in place, to reccommend to them targeted products
     • Requirements to run a trading website
       • The Australian government must be informed about our store and the appropiate permits should be applyed
       • Taxes
         • The relivant sales taxes must be complied with within Australia
