     • Who, what, where, when, why, how...

2. WHILE

   • TAKE NOTES (WORDS, NOT SENTENCES)
     • It helps you synthesize and integrate it into your writings
   • GUESS WORD MEANING FROM CONTEXT
     • Create a glossary and add new words to it

3. BEFORE

   • PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE
     • What do I know about the topic?
       • Brainstorm vocabulary that may appear in the tex
   • SKIM
     • Fast reading, look for the main ideas.
       • Clues: headings, sub-headings, guiding questions, pictures...
