1. Input devices

   • Keyboard
     • It is a device with keys of numbers and letters
     • It is used so that you can type things up on a computer
   • Mouse
     • A pointing device for a computer and it is used to click on the virtural buttons
     • It's main purpose is a tool that allows users to browse the computer
   • Scanner
     • it takes a copy of text and turns it into data so other devices can understand what is shown/written
     • you can use this so you are able to transfer a photo into a editing software
   • Graphics tablet
     • Controls the computer by using a stylus on a tablet
     • you can use it to make digital illusions
   • Microphone
     • It is used so that the device the mic is connected to can hear what the microphone hears
     • it can be used so that on a call when you speak the others can hear though their device
   • Webcam
     • it inputs videos and still images directly into a computer
     • it can be used in video calls so the person in the video call can see you
   • Sensor
     • Takes and inputs readings from the physical enviroment, like changes in temperature
     • This device can be used in security systems to detect something suspisious going on

2. Output devices

   • Monitor
     • Outputs an image from a desktop pc
     • It can be used to watch videos or browse stuff on a desktop
   • Projector
     • Its the same as a monitor but the screen is larger and it is mounted on a wall due to the size
     • It can be used for showing stuff in a presintation due to it's large size
   • plotter
     • It is a printer that draws the image and it is done to the best quality on large paper
     • it is mainly used for drawing vector graphics
   • printer
     • produces hard copies of digital documents and images on paper
     • It can print what ever you what from a computer
   • speakers
     • it is a device that shoots sound waves into the area's atmosphere so the user can hear the sounds
     • it is used so people can listen to music on loud volume
