   • Predicative position
     • The adjective goes after a linking verb and modifies the subject
       • (BE, LOOK, SEEM, BECOME, FEEL)

     • The adjective goes before the noun

2. ADJECTIVES ARE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE NOUNS

   • 1. Determiner
     • (a, an four, her, our, those, that, several, some)

     • (French, British, Italian, Thai, Korean, Chinese)

     • Short adjectives (one syllable)

             • Elephants are bigger than dogs

   • We use them when we are comparing three or more items
     • (-est, most)
       • Short adjectives (one syllable)

             • Big --> The biggest
