Triarchic Theory

1. Analytical

   • Analytical intelligence is when the components of intelligence are used to analyze, judge, evaluate and compare and contrast. This is done when individuals are faced with familiar problems in an abstract way (Vahidi, S. 2015).
     • I believe I am a strong in analytical intelligence due to my capability to easily analyze things such as books in English. Also I think I am strong here becasue I easily evaluate situations for danger or other circumstances

2. Practical

   • Practical intelligence occurs when the components of intelligence are applied to everyday problems (Vahidi, S. 2015).
     • I believe I am in the middle with this intelligence because sometimes I forget to think through my everyday actions. But I also think I am this due to my ability to solve everyday problems like budgeting or parking my car.

3. Creative

   • Creative intelligence occurs when components of intelligence are applied to novel problems, it involves creating and inventing, like when a child is asked to create a poem (Vahidi, S. 2015).
     • I believe I am high in this intelligence because I always like to think outside of the box to solve problems, which involves thinking in a new way. I also think I am high in this becuase I am very good at writing creatively and coming up with fiction stories.
