1. Exoskeletons are mechanical structures thathumans can wear to increase their strengthand endurance and so reduce workplacecauses of musculoskeletal disorders (MSD).

2. CLASSIFICATION

   • Exoskeleton sources of support can be the human body,exoskeleton framework and/or external support such as aconcrete floor.
     • Exoskeleton sources of power can be human body, exoskeletonframework and/or motors, etc.
       • Exoskeletons with motors can be described as activeexoskeletons, while exoskeletons without motors can bedescribed as passive.
