    1. Consecutive, cannot get to other slides
  2. Non-Linear
    1. Accessed in any order, jump over slides
    2. Order adapted depending on needs of audience, same presentation to different audiences
    3. Difficult to create, over complicated layout
  3. Hierarchical
    1. Different options selected from each slide
    2. Options set up when presentation created, meet the needs of the audience
    3. Cannot jump to an out of sequence slide, may not find slide required

    1. Needs a presenter, tailored pace

    1. No intervention, can loop, not for verbal presentations, appropriate timings

    1. Slides can be annotated, can be read if a power cut, relatively cheap

    1. Design and CAD packages; change size perspectives, size and proportions
  2. Bitmap
    1. Scanner/camera is used, clipart, sometimes be changed and edited, saved as BMP, GIF and JPEG
