1. Reason

   • General statement - supports a conclusion - giving information which helps us to agree with conclusion

2. Conclusion

   • Claim which is supported by reasons which we are supposed to accept after reading argument

3. Counter Assertion

   • Statement that goes against main reasoning which, when wrong, strengthens conclusion

4. Counter Argument

   • Reasons + conclusions that goes against the main reasoning in the passage which, when wrong, strengthens conclusion

5. Evidence

   • Information such as survey, statistics and statistical representations

6. Example

   • A situation used to support a reason
