    1. The design of equipment to increase the efficiency of the way it is used by the human body, to promote the health of users
      1. The science of designing equipment so that it is comfortable and user-friendly
        1. it can help to prevent RSI (repetitive strain injury) and other health problems
        2. Health Risk - Eye Strain
          1. CAUSE
            1. Sunlight or artificial lighting shining on a monitor
              1. Looking at a screen for too long
              2. WHAT CAN BE DONE
                1. Take regular breaks
                  1. Adjust the screen
                    1. Use an antiglare screen
                  2. Health Risk - Repetitive Strain Injury
                    1. CAUSE
                      1. Performing repeated actions (clicking a mouse)

                        1. Use a wrist rest to support your hands
                          1. Take breaks from repeated actions

                                          1. Adjust the chair so that your feet are flat on the ground or use a foot rest
