Lesson Plan

This Lesson Plan is focused for 10 students of A2 level according to

Common European Framework

·

Can understand sentences

and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance

(e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography,

employment).

Can communicate in

simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information

on familiar and routine matters.

Can describe in simple

terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas

of immediate need.

Objective: -To teach a story

for students working Grammar and Pronunciation skills

To reflect about the role of storytelling in the

classroom in order to create self-reflection regarding on different situations

in daily life.

INTRO * 10

minutes

(Broken phone) In rows, Teacher will give a marker to the last of

the row, the first will receive the sentence and whisper it to the next from

the line until it will get to the last and write it on the board. Sentences

such as: Pieter’s week was terrible because he got sick

ICE BREAKING/ ACTIVITY * 15

minutes

This institute has technological Devices for that reason teacher will

show students some Pictures and videos about the characters of story which

involve animals and people

To

catch students’ attention teacher will ask question such as:

How many elephants were in the video?

Is there a tree in the video?

These questions are to prepare students for the Plot of the story.

MAIN POINT *30 minutes

- The whole group slowly is

going to read the story twice and teacher will correct pronunciation mistakes

at the end of the reading.

Teacher will take into account the use of irregular nouns explaining in

context

vocab which involve objects, animals and places

Cut them out and put in a bag

Teacher will divide students into two teams

Taking turns/ have one student from each team choose

and act according to the specific Vocabulary

E.g Act as a Snake using your body

language

HOMEWORK *10 minutes

1-Create 5 senteces using animals of the story

2-Create senteces using irregular nouns of the story

3- Make a comment about this comic which is based on main story
