Spring vs Springboot

Spring is a JAVA EE development framework which focuses on making the development task easy. One of the major feature of Spring is dependency injection.

Springboot shortens the code with annotation configuration and default codes. Autoconfiguration is done using springboot.

Springboot has:

dependency resolution(less dependency to add in pom.xml and not to add version)

minimum configuration(adding bean, data factory,etc is not required )

embedded server for testing(springboot has internal tomcat server)

bean auto scan
