For simple Chinese sentences, the word order is

Subject + verb + object

For complicated Chinese sentences, the word order is

Subject + when + where + how + the action(verb + object)

This is the "Golden rule"

you can also use this word order:

when + subject + where + how + the action

Duration of an action goes after the action

when there are multiple time elements the order goes from BIG to small

year > month > day > part of day > time
