Solo Choreography

First thoughts

• 
• My first thoughts when picking this question, is a happy, energetic styled dance, with a lot of big movements and silly gestures. I thought this as when I first thought of Peter Pan, I though of the mischievous child-like personality that he portrays.
• Peter Pan is a boy who will never grow up, and can fly and dance with the fairies, this suggesting that he is a free-spirited boy who loves the idea of being a child forever, and never having to worry about 'grown-up' things, lie paying bills and having a job.
• However, Peter can also portray a more sinister side to him, one where he keeps himself to himself and becomes very bossy and persuasive with Wendy when he convinces her to go to Neverland with him.

Making the decision

• 
• After looking through the other questions and evaluating them all, I decided to pick this question. I also decided to go with the darker, sinister side of him, as "when children died he went part of the way with them, so that they should not be frightened." this could be quite a scary thought as, he could be dead himself, but got lost on the way, and created the 'Lost Boys' which help hi guide other children to heaven,.

• MOTIF ONE;
• Tuck jump with left leg leading, bend the arms to circle and follow the legs. Plie and throw left arm to right side, pause for one count; bring the arm back and turn to face the back, and then turn to face the front; left arm comes swinging around to the right side, but right arm catches it; right had hold left wrist. left had does lotus movement; kick the left leg to left stage and then place behind right leg, in fourth open.
• MOTIF TWO;
• Start by facing front in a crouched position. Bang fists on floor twice and then open fists and slap the floor twice. Lotus with both hands in front and then roll to the right to lay on back. contract upwards bringing legs and chest off the ground. turn to face the audience with arms in attitude. roll back into the crouched position, head down, wait for two counts then head shoots up.

• Start in upstage right and spin to downstage left. face the right side and contract the upped body over the legs and bringing the left leg to the knee. swing the left leg through to straight in front with arms parallel in front, still contracted. swing left leg back to the back and arabesque with right arm forward and left arm to the side. spin 90' to face the left and then contract the body over the legd with left leg coming up to the knee. swing the left leg forward still contracting with arm paralell infront. swing the left leg back through to arabeswue with righgt arm in front na dleft armn to the side. turn back to face the right side and lift the left leg up to 90' with a bend,right hand grabs the left ankle
