Infrared Radiation

Key Points

Infrared radiation is;

The transfer of heat

Created by waves

Emit = give out

Absorb = take in

Coloured surfaces different (dark, emits and absorbs more than light colours)

Special camera can measure it

How Energy can be transferred by Heating

Heat can be transferred from place to place by conduction, convection and radiation.
