Orthodox Jews

• Orthodox Jews believe that in every generation, there is a descendant of David who has the potential to be the Messiah. If the Jews are worthy of redemption, then God will guide the descendant of David to be the redeemer. Then, he will rule over humanity with justice and kindness.

Reform Jews

• Reform Jews reject the idea of a Messiah. Instead, they believe that people should all come together and achieve world peace instead of leaving one individual to do it. However, they do still believe in a future messianic age. (a future time of world peace)
