cpu unit

cpu(central processing unit)

• the function of the CPU is a fetching and executing of instruction stored memory it will issue instructions to other devises

cpu function

• 1)both the data and the program that acts upon that data are loaded in the main memory (ram
• 2)the CPU fetches data / instructions from main memory then stores them in its one internal temporary memory alu (arithmetic logic unit caries out calculations)

cpu cores

• the cpu u

cpu cores

• cache is a type of computer memory which can be accessed much faster than ram . the CPU looks in the cache for the data it needs retrieves it and prepossesses it

cache memory and levals

• a level one (L1) cache is a memory bank built in to the CPU chip
• a level 2 cache (L2) is a secondary staging area that feeds the level 1 cache
• caches are typically static ram while main ram memory is generally some variety of dynamic ram
