Research, Planning, and Questions
-
- The first step to do great research is to establish the objectives, which are the most important part of the research.
- The research needs to have clear objectives, measurable goals, realistic expectations, and alignment with research questions.
-
- Every research needs a literature basement, and the first step is to identify relevant sources (books, journal articles, research reports).
- Once that sources have been selected is important to analyze and evaluate them to consider its relevance with the research, and synthetize the key findings form each source to identify gaps and opportunities.
-
- The beginning of every research is directly related to having questions, questions that need to be answered.
- A well-informed question it has to be clear, specific, and focused to be answered. These questions can be "descriptive" (which describes a phenomenon or explore a specific aspect of a topic) and "explanatory" (which explains the relationship between different variables or explore the courses and effects of a phenomenon).

- Some of the instruments to use in research to get information are questionnaires, surveys, interviews.
- The choice of the instruments depends on the research objectives and the nature of the data to be collected.
-
Collecting, Organizing and Analyzing Data
- The way to collect the data depends on the research design, once that the data is collected is time to organize it and categorize it.
- Then is it important to analyze the data that has been collected using the appropriate statical techniques and software to summarize and interpret the data.
-
Interpreting the Research Findings
- Interpreting the data includes understanding the data, drawing conclusions and generating insights.
- These three steps require to understand the context of the research and consider the limitations of the study. After the understanding is time to draw conclusions that answer the research and generate insights that can lead to new questions and directions for future research.
-
- A well structured research presentation must include the following information to be effectively conveying your findings to the audience.
- Introduction
- Methodology
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
-
Effective Presentation Techniques

- visual aids
- Q&A sessions
-
Visualizing the Research Findings

The type of visualization to be chosen depends on the specific data to present, including graphs, charts, and tables, which are effective to illustrate the research findings always considering what's the best option to present the data.
-
- After a research it is imperative to present a well-structure report.
