- 1What is Meta Data?• Metadata is things such as documents, text and images.
• Each pixel is made up of binary numbers.
•Instead of using 1&0, using 4 possible numbers allow an image to use colour.
•The number of bits used in each pixel is called Colour Depth
It provides information about other Data. - 2Rules of Binary And DenaryThere are four rules to be followed in Binary;
0+0=0
1+0=1
1+1=10 (Binary for two)
1+1+1=11 (Binary for three)
When you add two numbers together in Denary we take the first number and add the second number. - 3Binary And DenaryBinary = 0's & 1's known as base system two.
Denary = 10 digits - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0
Numbers we use in our everyday lives. - 4Bit PlaneA bit plane is needed for images, each pixel is represented by a binary value we need this in order to store an image which is a representation of colours.
