Credit	the ability of a customer to obtain goods or services before payment, based on the trust that payment will be made in the future
Consumer credit	credit advanced to consumers for the purchase of goods or services
Creditworthiness	the extent to which a person or company is considered suitable to receive financial credit, often based on their reliability in paying money back in the past
Credit Report	a detailed breakdown of an individual's credit history prepared by a credit bureau
Credit Bureau	a company that collects information relating to the credit ratings of individuals and makes it available to credit card companies, financial institutions, etc.
Credit score	a numerical expression based on a level analysis of a person's credit files, to represent the creditworthiness of an individual
Consumer Protection Laws	a form of government regulation that aim to protect the rights of consumers
Credit-Reporting Agency	a business that maintains historical credit information on individuals and businesses
