| Listener Response | ability to listen and do what is asked |
| Imitation | Ability to watch someone's actions and do what they do |
| Echoic | ability to listen and echo what you hear with exact articulation |
| Intraverbal | ability to "fill in the blank" may be answering questions My words control your response |
| Prompts | the 'cues' you give students to help them arrive at a response maybe words, visuals, or physically helping them do something |
| SD | the words or actions given that cue the student to respond to what you did/said |
| VR = Variable Ratio | The AVERAGE number of questions asked before giving the student reinforcement |
| reinforcement | something that increases or decreases the future probability for something to happen |
