Isotopes is an atom of the same element which have the same proton number but they don't always have the same number of neutrons.

Plants need nutrients to grow and they cant use the nitrogen formed in the air because it is unreactive.

Instead, plants absorb soluble nitrates from the soil through their roots.

The Haber process:Way of turning the nitrogen in the air into ammonia.Raw materials for making ammonia are: Nitrogen from the air. Hydrogen which we get from natural gas. The nitrogen and hydrogen in purified and then passed over an iron catalyst at high temperatures and pressures. The product of this chemical reaction is ammonia.

This reaction is REVERSIBLE

The ammonia breaks down and can be turned into hydrogen and nitrogen. TO reduce this, we have to remove the ammonia by cooling and liquefying it as soon as it is formed.

HEATED AT 450 DEGREES.

PRESSURE OF 200 ATMOSPHERE.
