Structure :

- Comparative with short adjectives and short adverbs:

S1 + S-adj + er/ S-adv- er + than + S2 + Axiliary V

- Comparative with long adjectives and long adverbs:

S1 + more + L-adj/ L-adv + than + S2 + Axiliary V

Ex :He is more intelligent than I am.

The + short adj - est / adv - est

ex: Her ideas were the least practical suggestions.
