- 1Anti-virus and anti-spyware are both programs that protect the computer systems from other programs which are malicously downloaded. Anti-Virus means that the sofrware carries out a similar role with spyware.Usernames and passwords provide protection at two levels. The usernames is linked to groups of groups. These groups allow access or given permission for the user to access particular software such as financial information system and software such as internet access, word proccessor, speadsheet and email
- 2Firewalls are used to prevent unauthorised access to the computerPermissions- Rules that determine who can access an object and what they do with it. Am example would be the permissions granted to people to access a shared file on a network system.
- 3Encryption- Is when data is encoded so that it cannot be understood by people who are not authorised to see it.
