What does a steep distance-time graph represent? The steeper the graph the greater the speed it represents.
What is the equation for speed? distance travelled (metre) ----------------------------- time taken (seconds)
What does the slope of the line on a distance-time graph show? It gives the speed.
What is velocity? Speed and direction.
What is acceleration? The change of velocity per second.
What is the unit of acceleration? Meter/second 2 (squared)
What does the area under a graph represent? It represents distance traveled.
Does a free falling object have acceleration? Yes. It has constant acceleration.
