1What is a SPRITE?It is the character that you select or are given to do actions with on the stage.
2What is a STAGE?A stage is where your Sprite stands when you are giving it actions to do by the control panel on the left-hand side.
3What is a piece of CODE and what will it do when it is RUN in scratch?A piece of code is something that you make your sprite do when it is on the stage. When you have entered your coding and press GO (or the little green flag at the top of the screen on the right) your sprite will do what you have asked it to do in the CODE.
4What is a SPRITE COSTUME?It is when you add a new sprite to your stage or edit the sprite/s that you are using. You would do this by clicking on your sprite and pressing edit. This will then let you edit the sprite by adding new colours or features to the sprite.
5What is a SCRIPT?This is where you would insert different actions provided by the computer system into the big box on the left hand corner of the screen.
