- 1Macbeth by William Shakespearelady Macbeth should be lady like, but she wants to rule the country more than Macbeth does;this is shown in 'take my milk for gall' which suggests she wants to be as evil and horrible like the poison she wants. lady Macbeth is not acting like an Elizabethan lady because they are meant to sophisticated and feeble.
- 2Macbeth shows guilt before and after killing King Duncan this is because he worries that hes will get caught and that he will be killed soon after. this is shown in 'is this a dagger i see before me' which suggests that Macbeth is worrying about what the consequences are and would he actually become king or will malcome become king. after the death of king Duncan, his sons flea to England because they are scared that they will get killed too, which leaves someone to step up to become king and not to be worried that they will be killed too which is when the witches prophecies becomes real.
