Start

Delineate the needed measurements of my design using a pencil,ruler and tri-square on a raw piece of acrylic material

Cut out the acrylic piece using the marked out markings using the scroll machine

chloroform all the needed pieces of acrylic together

Clamp all the pieces of acrylic onto the lathe machine

Are all of the acrylic pieces aligned correctly and safely?

Start to cut the acrylic piece using the lathe machine

Is there any need to drill a center hole in the the acrylic piece

Drill a hole on the acrylic piece using the drilling machine and the correct drill bit size

Is the diameter of the

hole correct?

Use the wet sand paper to remove all the fine marks on the sides and edges of the acrylic piece

Are all the fine

markings removed?

Burnish the edges using a buffing machine and autosol

Are all the edges and

sides shinny?

The making of the part for the artefact is completed
