Second conditional
Talks about something that could happen in the future, although it may be unrealistic.
Are used in:
Use 1: It can be used to talk about things that may happen in the future but are unlikely to happen. That is, the conditions being talked about have little chance of being real.
Example:
If she won the lottery, she would buy a horse

Use 2: This second use of the second conditional in English is to indicate something in the present that is impossible for some reason, usually because it is not true or because it is absolutely improbable.
Example:
If I were you, I wouldn’t go there

Depending on the meaning you want to give to the sentence you can use would or could. Would translates to "Haría", and could translates to "podría".
Examples:
If I were taller, I could reach the top shelf.
If I were a good baker, I would prepare a cake for you.
