UNIT 1
- Problems in life
- ALGORITHM (Set of ordered steps or instructions to do an activity or solve a problem)
- To represent ALGORTIHM we need a FLOWCHART or FLOWDIAGRAM
- SYMBOLS IN FLOWCHARTS
- TERMINAL (Represents the beigining and the end of the development of an algorithms
- PROCESS (Used to represent each of the actions needed to develop the algorithm.)
- DECISION (Used when we need to decide between two or more options. It indicates the path to follow depending on the chosen option.)
- FLOW LINE ( Tell how is the order in the algorithm)
- INPUT OR OUTPUT INFORMATION (We used when information is needed or when we present data or results)
- SYMBOLS IN FLOWCHARTS
- SECUENTIAL ALGORIHM (Here, the instructions are ordered in the same order they appeare)
- SELECTIVES ALGORITHMS (Have a series of instructions that are executed depending on whether or not a condition is met.)
- ITERATIVE OR REPETIVE ALGORITHMS ( Have a set of instructions that are repeated several times, they are contained in loops that tell the end and the beigining)
- To represent ALGORTIHM we need a FLOWCHART or FLOWDIAGRAM
- PROJECT APPROACH
- Definition
- The PROJECT APPROACH is a method of dealing with and resolving the practical problems affecting any society.
- STAGES OF THE PROJECT APPROACH
- 1. DETECT THE PROBLEM OR NEED
- 2. INFORMATION AND RESEARACH
- 3. SEARCH FOR POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
- 4. CHOOSE THE SOLUTION
- 5. DESIGN
- 6. PLAN AND PREPARE THE WORK
- 7. BUILT THE PRODUCT
- 9. PRESENTATION AND ASSESMENT
- 8. CHECK THE RESULTS
- 10. WRITE THE PROJECT REPORT

UNIT 4
- DRAWINGS
- SKETECH (Is a free hand drawing without details. They are draws without scales, only proportion)
- DIAGRAM (Itś a drawing with more details than the sketch. Free hand. Objects with view. In proportion with actual size)
- TECHNICAL DRAWINGS ( Drawings made with ruler. All the details. Scale and dimension
- MEASUREMENT UNITS
- STANDARISATION (Set of standar laws that regulate every element. In Spain the most important is AENOR)
- DIMENSION A FIGURE (We indicate on the drawing representing it, the actual measurements needed to define it
- TYPES
- DIMENSION LINE (Used to indicate measurements and are drawn parallel to the line that they measurement)
- AUXILIARY DIMENSION LINE( These lines protrude about 2 mm and are used to delimit the dimension lines accurately. They must be at least 8 mm from the edge of the figure.)
- DIMENSION LINE END POINTS
- NUMBERS (Has to be expressed in milimmiters)
- DIMENSIONAL STANDARS
- CHAIN
- PARALLELS
- TYPES
- VIEWS OF AN OBJECT
- SECONDARY VIEWS (The not most important points of view)
- RIGHT ELEVATION (A view only showing the right part of the figure)
- REAR ELEVATION (Is the scale drawing that gives a back view of the set. )
- BOTTOM ELEVATION ( Is the lower view of one drawing)
- PRIMARY VIEWS (The most importants 3 points of view)
- FRONT ELEVATION (It is the main primary view; it is always the most representative face of the object. We can indicate it with an arrow.
- LEFT ELEVATION (It is the view from the left- or right-hand side of the figure.)
- PLAN ELEVATION (It is the view of the figure from overhead.)
- SECONDARY VIEWS (The not most important points of view)
- OBJECTS IN PERSPECTIVE
- CAVALIER PERSPECTIVE (The X and Z axes are drawn with a 90° angle of separation. The Y axis is drawn at an angle of 135º to the other two.
- ISOMETRIC PERSPECTIVE (We draw all three axes separated by the same angle: 120º.)
- 3D PRINTERS (They use a technology called fused, filament, fabrication to print objects)
- DESIGN ( It has to be in STL format))
