  1. Codominance; is shown by two alleles that are neither dominant nor recessive to each other. In the heterzygous condition, they produce a phenotype that is different from the homozygous state of either allele.
    1. Mulitiple alleles; refers to the condition in which there are more than two alternative forms of a particular gene that occupy a gene locus
