VARIABLES AND VARIATION
VARIABLE
CONSTANT
- In computer programming, a constant is a value that cannot be altered by the program during normal execution, i.e., the value is constant.
ASSIGNMENT
- In computer programming, an assignment statement sets and/or re-sets the value stored in the storage location(s) denoted by a variable name; in other words, it copies a value into the variable. In most imperative programming languages, the assignment statement (or expression) is a fundamental construct.
CASTING
- In computer science, type conversion, type casting, and type coercion are different ways of changing an entity of one data type into another. An example would be the conversion of an integer value into a floating point value or its textual representation as a string, and vice versa.
DATA TYPES
- BOOLEAN
- In computer science, the Boolean data type is a data type, having two values (usually denoted true and false), intended to represent the truth values of logic and Boolean algebra. It is named after George Boole, who first defined an algebraic system of logic in the mid 19th century.
- CHAR
- The CHAR data type stores character data in a fixed-length field. Data can be a string of single-byte or multibyte letters, numbers, and other characters that are supported by the code set of your database locale.
- STRING
- In computer programming, a string is traditionally a sequence of characters, either as a literal constant or as some kind of variable. The latter may allow its elements to be mutated and the length changed, or it may be fixed (after creation). A string is generally understood as a data type and is often implemented as an array
- INTEGER
- In computer science, an integer is a datum of integral data type, a data type that represents some range of mathematical integers. Integral data types may be of different sizes and may or may not be allowed to contain negative values. Integers are commonly represented in a computer as a group of binary digits (bits).
- REAL
- A real data type is a data type used in a computer program to represent an approximation of a real number. Because the real numbers are not countable, computers cannot represent them exactly using a finite amount of information. Most often, a computer will use a rational approximation to a real number.
- BOOLEAN
SEQUENCE
- sequence, selection and iteration as used in computer programming. In this presentation, i will explain what sequence, selection and iteration which are all used in computer programming. I will also explain about programming constructs.
SELECTION
- When a decision needs to be made in a computer program or an algorithm selection is used. This is typically done using conditional statements, the most common conditional statements are IF, THEN, ELSE. These statements allow different instructions to be run depending on whether or not a condition has been met.
ARRAY
- In computer science, an array data structure, or simply an array, is a data structure consisting of a collection of elements (values or variables), each identified by at least one array index or key. An array is stored so that the position of each element can be computed from its index tuple by a mathematical formula.
ITERATION
- COUNT CONTROLLED
- CONDITION
- In computer science, conditional statements, conditional expressions and conditional constructs are features of a programming language, which perform different computations or actions depending on whether a programmer-specified boolean condition evaluates to true or false.

- ARITHMETRIC
- REATIONAL
- LOGICAL
