1. Desing

   • Desing the capture forms/input forms
   • Desing the creen layouts
   • Desing a testing strategy
   • Desing/agree on file structure

2. Implementation

   • There is need to train staff on the new system
   • Transfer papers files or electronic files to the new system
   • Changeover to the new system

3. Evaluation

   • Feedback from end-users and from end users
   • Update of hardware because it can be changes that have to be evaluate
   • Carry out any maintance if it is necessary

4. Analysis

   • Research or collect data from the current system
   • Describes the current system
   • Identify the problems with the current system
   • Agree the objectives with clients

5. Development and Testing

   • Alllows the software to be broken down into smaller parts
   • It is test to si if it functions correctly
   • Improve the inputs and outputs methods

6. Documentation

   • Help users to learn how to use the system
   • There is some overlap between the t2 tyoes of documentation that is
     • 1. the end-user
     • 2.People who may need to modify the system further ast some later stage
