1. the tempest - The Tempest- the storm represents the twists and turns of one's life, and how quickly things can change because of one event. The storm brought justice to Prospero, and love to Miranda, along with affecting all of the characters in this play

   • start
     • prospero,miranda caliban and Ariel seem have to been living peacefully on a lonely island for 12 years
       • conflict
         • the peace is broken when Prospero's enemies land on the island as a result of a tempest which Prospero stirred up. he can either get revenge or forgive them in order to gain his dukedom back
           • complication
             • sebastian and Antonio agree to kill the king on order to gain more power. Caliban also plots to kill Prospero. Prospero also creates a complication by pretending Ferdinand is a spy
               • Climax
                 • Ariel appears as a harpy to the 3 traitors an dhe singles out Alonso for overthrowing Prospero and tells him that his bad deed that was the cause of the shipwreck and the loss of his son
                   • Suspense
                     • the king becomes upset and Gonzalo is scared of what the King might do to himself meanwhile Antonio and Sebastian decide to fight the spirits. Stephano and his drunk posse approach Prospero with plans to kill him.

                         • Conclusion
                           • Prospero gets his dukedom back, Ferdinand and Miranda get married, Ariel is free, Prospero 'drowns his book. Alonso learns that his son isnt really dead, and he regrets overthrowing prospero. nothing changes for Anontio and sebastian. Prospero asks the audience to applaud him.
                         • Ariel tells Prospero although he isnt human, anyone who sees these traitors would pity them. Prospero thus decides to act virtuously rather than take vengence
