4. 01. ESTABLISH MAINTENANCE STRATEGY

   • Describes how Maintenance Strategies at the facility and equipment level are driven by an Business, Site and Facility Maintenance Strategy.

5. 02. IMPROVE FACILITY RELIABILITY

   • Need data generated and captured by the disciplined execution of the Do Maintenance Process.

6. 03. IMPROVE FACILITY INTEGRITY

   • Ensures equipment inspection programs and practices are in place. The programs are optimized to meet regulatory and business requirements for HSE, productivity and optimized cost of ownership.

7. 04. EXECUTE MAINTENANCE

   • 04.01 CREATE VALUE ADDED WORK ORDER (CVAWO)
     • Ensures that work orders add value, are properly scoped, and prioritized
   • 04.02 PLANNING & SCHEDULING
     • Reduces delays and costs by ensuring that work is planned such that materials, tools, safety and job instructions are available at the required time and place. A multiple day schedule is maintained across a site in order to take advantage of sharing resources such as cranes, tools, and people.
   • 04.03 DO MAINTENANCE
     • Process is followed for executing work according to the scope, in a safe and timely manner. All work and findings are documented in the form of equipment history and improved job plans.

8. 5.0 OPTIMIZE PROACTIVE MAINTENANCE & SPARE

   • To ensure that Plant Predictive and Preventive Maintenance and spare parts programs are in place. The programs are optimized to meet business and legal requirements for HSE, plant availability and minimum cost of ownership.

9. 6.0 MANAGE SPARES

   • Manage the plant spares inventories in line with the business needs while meeting business and legal requirements.

10. 7.0 PLAN & EXECUTE TURNAROUND (PETA)

    • To identify, define, plan and execute turnarounds.
