1. Shape - What is the shape of each picture or symbol?

2. Position - Are the pictures or symbols in similar or different positions?

3. Angle - Are the pictures or symbols at particular angles?

4. Number - How many objects or features are in each picture or symbol?

5. Shading - Is there any change or consistency to the shading?

6. Size - What is the size of each object or symbol?

7. Function - What is each object or symbol for?

8. Location - Where is each object or symbol found?

9. Telling a story? - follow the logical pattern of "what comes next".

10. Kinds of Problems

    • Similarities - can be pictures or symbols . It can also have one or more variables such as position and shading or angle and size
    • Sequences - can be pictures or symbols.
    • Analogies
      • Association - Study the relationship between first pair and apply to second one

11. Repeating Patterns - Does the first picture appear in the pattern?
