1. Blood from: Hepatic artery proper and hepatic

   • Boold drain: Hepatic veins
     • portal triad: hepatic artery, portal vein,bile duct

2. Attached to the diaphragm by falciform, triangular and coronary ligaments

3. joined to the stomach by lesser omentum and hepatoduodenal ligaments

4. Visceral portion contacts: gallbladder, right kidney,part of duodenum, esophagus, stomach

5. porta hepatis : point of enter and exit of vessels and ducts

6. bile is excreted and produced (main function of the liver) by hepatocyte and is transported to the duodenum

7. kuppfer cells filter bacteria and foreign particles out of the blood

8. lesser Omentum: double liyer of peritoneun (from the liver to the duodenum)
