   • Ghana is the country closest to the center of the world.

   • Ghana map with its neighbours Togo, ivory coast and Burkina Faso
   • Has a coast line of 560km

2. Natural Features and climate

   • Largest mountain is Afadzato which is 1,500 m above sea level
   • Country has lots of rivers such as the river Volta, Pra and Tano
   • Largest natural lake is the lake Bosomtwi,it has a total area of 48 km and reaches depths of 72 metres
   • River Bosomtwi in the valley

   • The country is spit up into 10 different regions.
   • Ghana has a population of 17.7 million people.
   • The life expectancy of a person is 56
   • A third of children under 5 are malnourished
   • 74% of children have primary education 38% have secondary and only "% have tertiary

   • According to the world bank they are classed as a low income country
   • Only 6 million people are employed out of 17.7 million in population
   • The average earnings of a person is $430 a year.
   • Nearly half of Ghana production is agricultural and only a sixth is industrial
