1. verbs

   • regular and irregular
     • Regular verbs are those whose past participle and past simple are formed by adding -ed.
       • example
         • 1º jump – jumped The children jumped over the fence. 2º paint – painted We painted the wall blue. 3º clean – cleaned They cleaned my car. 4º wait – waited We waited for an hour for you.
     • Irregular verbs form the past simple and the past participle differently.
       • example
         • 1º Bend-bent 2º Bet-bet 3º Bid-bid 4º Build-built 5º Bring-brought

2. hypothetical situations

   • are
     • hypothetical or unreal situations
   • would
     • represents the endings -ría, -rías, -ríamos, -ríais and –ría
       • example:
         • I would buy a very big house.
         • We would go to the beach more often.
         • They would have arrived at the concert on time.

3. second conditional

   • grammar
     • If + simlple past + comma + would + verb
       • exanple: If the girl knew the answer, she would tell it to the whole class
     • With verb to be, use werw, even with a third person singular subject
       • example.
         • If pedrp werw very intelligent, he would pass all his exams easily
   • If + past simple,...would + infinitive
     • Examples
       • if i won the lottery, i would buy a big house.
       • If imet the queen of england, i would say hello
   • If + simple past + could/ might/ sould + verb(base form)
     • example
       • if I had more time, I might go swimmimg more often (small probality)
       • if I had more time, i should go swimming more often (adivice or recommendation)
       • If I had more time, I could go swimming more often (possibility or ability)
