   • Descriptive
     • Adjectives that describe the qualities of a person or thing.
       • Factual
         • Adjectives that give us facts about a thing or object.
           • New, old, round, large, small.
             • My dog is very small.
       • Classifying
         • An adjective that classifies a noun.
           • Musical instrument, married couple, nervous disorder, Australian history.
             • The married couple were on their honeymoon.
       • Opinion
         • Adjectives that express feelings about something.
           • Beautiful, cruel, kind, rude.
             • Her dress is beautiful.
   • Possessive
     • Adjectives that show possession over something.
       • First person
         • My.
           • This is my dress.
       • Second person
         • Your.
           • Your dress is nice.
       • Third person
         • His, her, it's, their.
           • Her dress is nice.
   • Numeral
     • Adjectives that describe the number, numerical order or quantity of nouns or pronouns.
       • Cardinal
         • Adjectives that tell the number of things.

         • Adjectives that tell the order of things in a numerical sequence.
           • This is my third banana I've eaten today.

         • Adjectives that describe the quantity of a noun.
