The Scientific Method

1. To apply the scientific method, a series of stages must be followed:

   • 3. EXPERIMENTATION
     • An experiment is a procedure performed under specific conditions checked to see if a hypothesis is true. It is the most complex stage creative and scientific method.
       • When designing an experiment you have to take into account what type of variables we are going to study and which ones can affect our results
         • INDEPENDENT VARIABLE: It is what we manipulate when performing the experiment and we think it has an effect on another variable.
           • CONTROL VARIABLES: They are variables that we keep in a value constant in all observations.
             • DEPENDENT VARIABLE: It is the one whose data changes with each observation.
   • 2. DEVELOPMENT OF A HYPOTHESIS
     • A hypothesis is an assumption or explanation provisional answering the question raised.
       • The hypothesis must be stated in the most concrete and precise possible to avoid ambi- güedades.
   • 1PROBLEM STATEMENT
     • Observation of nature and events events that occur in it lead the scientist I am going to ask yourself a series of questions.
       • You need to get information from sources reliable: specialized magazines, textbooks or trusted web pages, and note those sources.
   • 4. ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS AND CONTRAST OF THE HYPOTHESIS
     • To analyze the results is to study the data obtained in the experiment ment and contrast the working hypothesis, that is, check if this is true or false.

2. Scientific knowledge implies the use of a specific language, thus as well as an own research method called scienti fi c method.
