1. Ionic Bonding

   • Between Non Metal & Metal.
   • Electrons move to make full outer shell.
   • Form Ionic Compounds.
   • Each electron is held in place by electro static attraction .
     • Between negative and positive.
       • Electrons are negative
       • Protons are positive
   • Example

2. Covalent Bonding

   • Between two NON METALS
     • They share a pair of electrons
       • High energy outer shell
   • Very strong bonds hard to break.
   • Example

3. KEY= Yellow = covalent

   • Green = Ionic
     • Grey = Extension
