1. ZERO CONDITIONAL

   • Use: general truth; sth that i always ture
     • I get paid more, if I work overtime. / If you add two and two, you get four.
   • Form: If-clause (PRESENT TENSE) + main clause (PRESENT TESNSE)

2. TYPE 1

   • Use: a real situation likely to happen in the PRESENT or FUTURE
     • If-clause forms
       • If + PRESENT TENSE (present simple, const., perf.)
         • If + going to
           • If + can
             • If + should / should + subject
       • Will/won't in the if-clause
         • request, willingness, polite inv.
           • Follow me, if you will. / If you will follow me, I'll show you sth.
         • insistence
           • If you will stay up late, you'll be tired.
         • refusal (wont)
           • If they wont co-op, they'll be punished.
         • will (or present tense) used in the if-clasue, when what is in the if-clause is the RESULT of what it in the MAIN
           • If it will make you happy, we'll buy that one.
             • I'll lend you $5, if it will help you pay him off.
