                    1. CORRECTION OF ENAMEL MARGINS - remove weakened enamel edges, bevel edges
                      1. CAVITY DEBRIDEMENT - cavity thouroughly washed and dried to remove debris and bacteria
                2. LINE ANGLE - where 2 lines meet
                  1. CAVOSURFACE ANGLE - where cavity wall meets tooth surface
                    1. POINT ANGLE - where 3 or more lines meet
                  2. STAGES IN CAVITY PREPERATION
                    1. Gain access to the caries (outline form)
                      1. Remove the caries - ADJ then infected but not affected
                        1. Look, think, design
