   • place data in columns, rank, find difference, square difference, add up d2
   • test for correlation

2. MANN WHTNEY

   • test for difference
   • put data in columns, rank, sum ranks for smaller sample (T), work out U, calculate U2 (N1 x N2 - U)
   • value needs to be lower

3. CHI SQUARED

   • test of association
   • calculate row/column totals, calculate grand total, calculate expected frequencies, calculate (O-E)2 / E for each box, add up for X value
   • value needs to be greater
