1. user defined types where all possible values are explicitly listed.

2. How to write: static enum ______ {Value, Value 2} <--- no equals sign

   • How to call: nameofenum.Value ex: Meal.LUNCH

3. Values in an enum are typically capitalized ex: LUNCH

4. Ops

   • .name(): returns a string of the value ex: Meal firstOne = Meal.LUNCH; System.out.println(firstOne.name()) returns LUNCH in a string.
