   • Abstraction of a problem
   • Class Name
     • Capital first letter
   • Fields
     • variables
       • camel case convention
   • Methods
     • actions the object can do
     • main
       • entry point for application
     • Constructor
       • used to create objects, class must have one
       • can be multiple

2. Objects are instances of classes

   • Instantiated with code: new <constructor>()
   • null
     • reference variable has no assigned value
