   • Primary schools 5 - 11 year olds
   • Secondary schools (11 - 16 year olds).

   • Independent schools are known as private schools and public schools . Parents pay for their children to attend these schools.

   • The first degree that students get when they study at the university for three or four years.

   • A degree that is taken after a first degree (e.g. Mster, doctors)
